A Call to the Blood Stream of Mother Earth 04/30/2012
The river she is flowing flowing and growing The river she is flowing down to the sea Mother, carry me Your child I will always be Mother, carry me down to the sea. Ancient Chant We are in the bloodstream of the Mother when we are in her oceans, lakes, and rivers. It is then we remember we are flowing in the stream of The Universe. After the flames of the fire comes the balance of cleansing water. There is a call to the nourishing waters. Water to balance and temper the fire of transmutation and balance the grounding of Earth’s energy. We have spent a great deal of time these first four months of the year with Earth, with transmuting and releasing of energy, it is now time to return to the waters. For times immemorial, the streams of the water have been used to cleanse and purify the energies of the world. Water can transmute energy, as all elements can, yet water does so in a feminine, gentle way. The call heard is a call to bring forth the feminine energy and to communicate in the feminine ways even further. Water is feminine. Water is malleable, it is shape-able and mutable. Water is the meeting place between Father sky and Mother Earth. Our medicine must include the healing waters, and the time is now. All wounds are cleansed by water, tears wash away our tears, and the tears of heaven's rain washes the waters of earth. Human tears are not a sign of weakness, rather a sign we have been strong for too long and a release is needed. It is vitally important to remember that release brings peace. We must think of our tears as diamonds for, indeed, their release is precious ....necessary for both personal and global healing. Water transmutes the energies in its own way – from solid ice, to melting liquid, to gas vapor just as the tears of the body and the tears of skies transmute. Water is the equalizer between the masculine and the feminine. It is a precious gift which must be revered and respected. Water is both a life-giving and life-sustaining element, a perpetual force of nature to be honored. When we listen to the waters they remind us we must go with the flow, our own flow and that of Mother Earth. One can not fight a rip tide else they may be carried away to the depths. Water must be respected, as all elements, for its power - it can be a gentle, slow changer, or a forceful mover - capable of destruction, yet it gives life. We too are like water, in constant motion, constant flow. There are times when we are still, peaceful and every ripple from a stone is experienced. Then there are times when we are rushing, crashing like a wave against the stone. It is all part of the natural ebb and tide. Our bodies cannot be sustained long without the gift of water, and we must stop taking it for granted. Water also shares with us the lesson of patience - it can take thousands of years to mold rock, make sand, change land mass or, can be a tsunami and wreak immediate havoc and destruction. Just as fire can be a candle's flame to light our way or destroy a forest when not contained. The call of water - the call to the cycle of release, purification, and the life-giving element. We pause to offer a prayer. Sacred Water, We give thanks to all the Waters of the world for quenching our thirst and providing us with strength. Water is life. We know its power in many forms - waterfalls and rain, mists and streams, rivers and oceans. With one heart, we send greetings and thanks to the spirit of water. Now our spirits are one. AHO!! (Prayer by Cuauhtli Cihuatl) Beginning this month at the end of each collective message we will share a teaching or medicine ritual to help bring in the medicine of the collective message. As we hear the call of water to our daily lives, we offer simple ceremony for our own soul being. Water and prayer create cleansing rituals. The simplest way to bring a practice of purification into your day is during your time in the shower. Begin your morning with a vigorous sea salt scrub with the intention of clearing any negativeness or impurities from your system. Let water carry these away and wash you clean as you offer a prayer of thanks. Moon Water has been used by many traditions to honor and bring the power of water into the physical body. To prepare Moon Water, place drinking water in a clear pitcher or bowl (must be made out of glass or crystal, clear and with no designs or motifs on it). Cover it with cheese cloth or a clean cotton towel so insects and/or leaves do not enter into it. Leave outdoors over night, then in early morning bring indoors and drink a glass before breakfast and throughout the day until the pitcher of water is finished. It is preferable to do this for nine days. Why nine days? The Mayans, Aztecs and Incas believe in the nine spirits of healing, the nine healing dimensions and the nine cycles of grieving. In following the traditions to honor the nine spirits, nine dimensions and nine cycles, we follow the ritual for nine days. The worldwide family of Peace Chambers hold a fire ceremony on the seventh of each month to honor and heal the waters of the world and connect with the Mer People. Vibrationally water is strongly connected with the life of the Peace Chamber and all our ceremonies. We learn that water is "liquid light." When we take our first water in ceremony after a dry fast, we are infused with "liquid light." We are invited to remember this each time we drink water. We are made of water, so we are made of light. When we give up our water in the sweat lodge, the "liquid light" is carrying away our impurities, those toxic beliefs, emotions, fears, and false limitations that stop us from being all we came to this life to be, and serving in the pure and magnificent way we came to serve. Add Comment Healing the Great Invisible Wound 03/22/2012
"There's a deep wound in people - that they have been so cut off from the source of their being, their mother, their Earth Mother." -- Francis Story Talbott II (Medicine Story), WAMPANOAG The Great Invisible Wound - A Collective Message from We The Women - From Lack and Scarcity to Abundance and Prosperity All of life seems to be touched by some facet of a great wound that the prospect of healing is daunting. The great wound of separation. The wound has created such things as lack and scarcity. It sets the stage for alienation, duality, and the illusion of lack. The ripples of separation permeates our society driving the human heart to seek solace in many places - yet, each only a band aid for the wound. The truth being the wound created a chasm of emptiness that is experienced as a lack. The experience of the great invisible wound has been manifested from illusion to reality; the reality of not enough from the monetary aspects of life and pervading the soul, the soul longing for more resulting in greed, competition, lust, and the deep psychological depression. Our ancestors, the elders, had a deep sense of Oneness. They not only experienced and felt the ancestors, but a deep knowing allowing for a blissful unity with all worlds. The great wound must be purified and filled with this knowing that they are Oneness, they are enough, and they are whole. It can be difficult to even wrap the psyche around the idea of being whole, of being and having enough, and a blissful existence when the reality of the path has manifested into poverty, depression, and fear. If we do not honor the separateness that has been brought into reality, one may never experience true Oneness. Whenever there is a wound, a deep wound that is to be healed it is necessary first to acknowledge that the wound exists. Many cannot see the wound as they have come to experience being the wound. It is vital to recognize and acknowledge that we are not the wound. The wound exists, yes, but we are not the wound. In order to heal the wound and to fill the emptiness, we must begin with determining our authentic true worth. We must experience that we are worth healing. The enormous chasm of discord opened by this wound must be filled. Each one must experience that they are perfect in value for it is only then that we can begin to experience the unity, the oneness of our ancestors. This is the basis of a relationship with the foundations of respect, commitment, trust, and loyalty. The healing of this great wound means that we have the freedom to explore what the expression of Oneness is. This healing begins with discovering the center of balance. It is within the center of being that the foundation of worth exists. The closing of this wound allows for the foundational removal of beliefs which allows for freedom - freedom of choice and abundance. Allows for dreams and desires to become co-created with the Universe. What is the experience of prosperity? The experience of abundance? What blocks or stands in the way of Oneness? The root cause of lack or scarcity is based upon the energy of fear. Fear that something will disappear. Fear that there is not enough. Fear that someone has more. Fear of money itself. Fear stops the circulation of all energy of Oneness. This fear is based upon the power that is perceived with abundance and prosperity. It can be seen as guilt, worry, judgment. Healing the great wound comes when we return to the core value of self. The value of self within stands as a representation of all our fears, guilts, worries, judgments as well as all our faith, dreams, characterizations, and self-worth. Clearing the fear is not enough, to truly heal the great wound one must take responsibility. Responsibility for all aspects of self-worth and creating the new reality of worth are vital to true healing. The filling of the chasm is your responsibility. What are you going to fill the wound with? Your authentic self-worth will be the basis of what fills the chasm. Your authentic and truth worth is determined simply by how much you give in life as compared to how much you receive. This is known as the Law of Value. What you give in value to life whether in relationship to service, business, or spiritual relative to what you receive in payment (whether in spiritual gifts or monetary) is the formula for all true worth. If you give more than you allow be received it is out of balance. If you receive/take more than you give, it is out of balance. The true gift of balance is when you gift as much as you receive. Even your compensation in life is determined not only how many people you serve, but more importantly how well you are of service to them. What is your intent in serving – is it simply monetary or do you serve from a place of true altruistic motive? When we are looking to heal the lack and scarcity wound, the intent or motive of why give is vital to understand. The most valuable gift or service that you as an individual have to offer is the gift of yourself. If you are not valuing that as a gift – if you do not gift yourself moments with yourself – if you do not find value in yourself, than you cannot gift authentically. When you do not value yourself, the ability to stay open to receive prosperity and plenty is not available. When you put another souls’ interest in the value spot – you create a relationship. This created relationship is based upon a foundation in respect, commitment, trust, and loyalty. Or you are showing the other soul that you value them enough to do this giving/serving. This thought includes ourselves. If we do not value our own selves – our own passion, we are not able truly to place others in a position of value. We begin by placing a value upon our own soul, our own love of self, and upon our service to others. We must value our self in order to receive prosperity in any form. As with all aspects of life, there is a line between value and ego. This is not to say that one must be ego based to value self. It is from a place of deep self-love that value stems. Setting the intention, healing the wound, and filling it with love, self-worth, and giving result in abundance and prosperity in all aspects of being and reality. As we sit in ceremony for the New Moon Despacho, we offer prayer to heal this wound. Thank you,Thank you,Thank you,Great Spirit. We bow humbly before youas your sons and daughtersto plant the seeds of abundanceunder the dark of Mama Killa,Grandmother Moon. Thank you for holding our fears Pachamama. We surrender the wounds of lack and scarcity to your belly. We thank you for composting this dense heavy energyso that we may be reborn, under the light of Inti Ti Ti, Father Sun. May we reclaim our birthrightand align with abundance and prosperity so our hearts may overflow in love, compassion, generosity and sharing. May we be vessels of Light. We thank you for hearing our prayersand answering our call. AHO! **Prayer offered and written by Karen Chrappa Daughter of Pachamama Sister of the Sacred Lodge of We the Women Sunflower of Bouquet of Light Ayllu Self-Love as the Ultimate Radical Act 02/29/2012
We The Women spent our Sacred Lodge focused upon the topic of Self-Love as the Ultimate Radical Act. We began the Sacred Lodge following the New Moon Despacho where the focus was upon balancing the energy within - balancing the Sacred Feminine and the Sacred Masculine. From the ashes of the fires, from the ashes of the despacho, that was focused upon this unification of the Sacred Masculine and the Sacred Feminine, a clear message revealed itself. The unification of the energies both individually and collectively this process can shake the foundation. We are seeking the authentic self in order to speak our truths and share our wisdoms with a global world. That voice emerges when we ourselves practice the art of self-love. What is the art of the self-love? In order to begin this process of self-love, one must truly begin to know their authentic selves. They must “become the expert” of their own bodies, spirits, and minds. One cannot begin to unify within the collective if they have not unified within. It is imperative that we come to be experts on our authentic selves and not on the illusionary version of self that ego and society have created. To truly begin to know self we must come to see the light within as well as the darkness within. We must study ourselves from a sacred witness perspective. The ultimate radical act is coming to love deeply and equally our light and our shadow and to have conversations with the shadow and see all its aspects as a gift. It is through the shadow we experience liberation from the illusion. This work can be profoundly difficult but the rewards are immense. The focused intent before, during and after this work must be self-love. It must be nurturing of self, supporting of self, and compassion with self. Just as you would gift these experiences to a friend going through a deep transition, YOU must gift them to yourself. Understand this process is so vastly different in experience than many have experienced before. A true "radical rewiring of our systems". In order to grow into true self love, at first we must have enormous compassion for ourselves. As women, we tend to use guilt as a self-saboteur. When we realize that even our “mistakes” were there for our learning - we did the best we could, with the tools we had and emotions we felt - Put simply, we made the best decisions we could at the time. Our intent was good. And then we learned. It takes a while to learn that what used to serve us quite well, perhaps as a child, no longer does. So thanking ourselves for learning coping mechanisms, and then creating the awareness to let them go, and grow, is part of compassion. Negative, self-sabotaging, guilty, blaming behaviors act as weights on our divine selves. It is difficult, for sure, to both recognize and let go of old patterns of behavior, but when we do, we catapult ourselves into a profound, deep knowing of our true selves and divine nature. Letting go of thinking we have to do everything perfectly is one of the greatest gifts of self-love. The reality is that we are hard wired to look for obstacles, negatives, things to worry about - in order to survive. Blaming self for “knowing better” or “making mistakes” makes us into a victim. It is simply taking one small step after another that allows us to turn toward the light, the positive, the fulfillment that is our divine inheritance. We have to first overcome our biology for survival and to realize, just like the fight or flight response, it has an infinitely smaller purpose in our lives at this stage of our evolution, but it is still imprinted on us. Self-love means creating new imprints, new neurological pathways of default responses, and knowing we are more than our biology. Having the emotional and psychological discipline to recognize when we are caving in to an old habit that no longer serves us is a big step toward facing our divine selves, and loving ourselves. The best way to get past that monkey mind of ours is finding quiet, contemplative, meditative time; a ritual which exposes our soul and spirit to as much positive reinforcement as possible. Give yourself time to really get in touch with your divine self - and fall in love. Use compassion to bridge the gap between guilt and giving ourselves that gift of self-love - because it is then that you are celebrating life to the fullest. Loving ourselves is the greatest gift you can give yourself, and the world. Self-Love and compassion is the message which resounded from the ashes. Yet, to truly be a radical act – one must add in Radical Acceptance by giving permission to our hearts and spirit to accept that reality is what it is, to accept that everything has a cause, and to accept that life can be worth living even when there's pain. It is in doing this radical acceptance that we are honoring the sacred directions by letting go of all belief systems that do not serve us any longer, of accepting and embracing the PRESENT and no longer live in the past nor dream in the future of what ifs. The Radical Act is what we do to our hearts and spirits NOW from the lessons of the past. It is in the HOW of the walk in the Future. We must choose and begin to act acceptance of self-love. It is the act of self-love that honors all life as sacred. All parts of self must be embraced in self-love; the infant, the child, the teenager, the younger adult, the adult, the elder, and even the present and future self. We must accept fully as part of individual story all the parts of self, including every success, failure, error, truthful insight, embarrassment, hurt, and wound. Every moment is sacred and must be honored. We must choose to accept and love the sacred self if we are to create a life of acceptance and understanding in compassion for others. When the practice of self-love is placed into action, the Sacred Feminine is restored to its natural order. The paradigm of imbalance has left generations where achievement has only been won by following a competitive, aggressive masculine model, which has contorted the Sacred Feminine energy, it has denied the Sacred Feminine wisdom, strained the psyche of women, and left their souls starving. The martyrdom model of service and the competitive model of achievement have unbalanced the natural order of creative masculine and feminine energies in modern societies. Sacred Feminine energy, women in general, have learned to give of their own sustenance, of their very body, often times until they are left physically and emotionally spent. Feeling depleted and empty, we look for validation, approval, and worthiness from others outside of self. Not finding it in the external, one is left feeling shamed, blaming self, and overcompensating to fill the emptiness. We must GIVE to self what you seek in the external. You MUST give yourself love, attention, pleasure, support and appreciation. It is an act of sacred devotion to Love yourself. Spirit requires this devotion from you, because Spirit needs your gifts poured out into the world as service. In truth, you can only give and serve from your surplus, your overflowing full cup. It is Self-Love that feeds you and fills your cup to overflowing. When you know this, you make decisions and follow through with action guided by Self-Love. Here's where the miracle happens. When you have filled yourself up with Self-Love--Pleasure, Nutrition, Rest, Healthy Boundaries, Wealth, Self-Appreciation, Spiritual practice--The most radical act of Self-Love is to give your love to another, especially one who challenges you to love, one you may not want to love, one you have "issues" with. This generosity opens the floodgates and fills your brimming cup to overflow. Truly such radical Self-Love will stir up the shadow as no other. To deeply feel into the sacred Self, to be able to see and express our value, beauty, and power, this is to experience the very essence of the Divine Feminine. This is why women make Circle. We need Circle to do this work in the Light and Shadow. The magic and miracle of being a woman--the gift of the Circle-- is that our Shadow turns us toward the Light. What we see in our Sisters is the Light of our own Love reflected. The Divine Feminine lives and breathes thru each of us. Her vibration is expressed both individually and collectively. When we choose to recognize and honor the Divine Feminine, we are choosing to recognize and honor our own sacred Selves. This is the powerful WE of Women. This is the powerful Divine Feminine – for She is We and WE are She. We are all holy children – the daughters, the priestess, the Goddess container, the sacred chalice of all mysteries, the Great Mother of All That Is. There is no separation. When Self-Loving, individually powerful Women gather in Circle to stir each other's shadows, support each other's growth, reflect each other's Light, and work together, Sacred Feminine power is reclaimed in the collective body. She emerges as a loving, transformative planetary energy. In response, the unbalanced masculine can regain right relationship to the Feminine as Sacred Masculine. (Healing Self-Love in men needs the awakened Feminine to activate.) Natural order and balance is restored. That's how Radical Self-Love changes the world. It is the only thing that can. The Prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor 02/29/2012
The prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor is retold by many nations, many people. The Q'ero prophecies say that when the eagle of the North and the condor of the South fly together, the Earth will awaken. For the eagles of the North cannot be free without the condors of the South. It is now. The awakening - the return to nature and the cycle of nature is now. As we join together, without regard to lineage and separation of path, in an unbroken circle we share an understanding of the messages of that awakening. When the consciousness awakens, it is then we can all fly like the eagle and the condor. In truth, we are all native. We have all come from nature, from Mother Earth herself, and will all return to her. The golden light in the cosmos is the fire of spiritual light sharing eternal flames of love to all equally. It has been shared that for nearly 500 years the Q'ero elders have held sacred the preservation of the "pachacuti" which is a sacred prophecy of great change. In the film, The Road to Q'eros messages from the Andes, we begin to see the unfolding of the prophecy. The unfolding began when the elders of Q'eros came to the North to perform a shamanic ritual that had not been done in nearly 500 years. This great gathering "mastay" and the sharing of people from all four directions continues. The Q'ero are sharing their teachings to prepare for the day of the Eagle of the North and the Condor of the South will take to the skies to fly once more together unified in "munay" (love and compassion). It is in "munay" that these gathering's will occur. This prophecy shares the great change will birth a new society of remembering. "We The Women" emerge from a Sacred Lodge gathering to share a message, a collective message of weaving the fabric of life into a beautiful tapestry. We urge you to listen and to join us "We The Women". Audio Version can be found here: http://soundcloud.com/sacredsoulshaman/we-the-women-collective So many have been asking about the prophecies and energies being shared regarding the times we live in. While we each have personal beliefs, what we share here is a collective message. When we listen, we hear. Listening we hear that it is within the power of each of us to co-create a reality of unending, unconditional love. This is no longer simply a vision, rather a reality already in existence. If we desire to live in a human society unified with unconditional love, we must first begin to nurture and develop our own spiritual Selves. We must set examples for others by walking our talk, continually practicing Self-love and Self-care. We must, in all ways, hold our sacred Selves accountable by always coming from a place of deep, personal integrity, and strive to be kind to all creatures great and small. We must work together, side-by-side, sister-to-sister, to help create, uphold, and preserve the spiritual principles of community. Communities where every member is equally valued, loved, and accepted. Rather than competing, we must learn to collaborate and cooperate with one another. As individuals and community, we must nourish altruistic traits such as trust with respect, love with acceptance. A strong, positive, solid foundation, one of faith and courage, must be laid as we strive to let go of ego’s negative state of worry and fear. The greatest medicine ever gifted mankind is love. Love transcends ego, worry, fear, and anxiety. Love heals and soothes the soul, like a magical balm. Self love enables us to begin the process of learning to love and accept all relations, all life-forms on our great Mother Earth. Self love means respecting and trusting our sacred Selves, seeing no separation between ourselves and the worlds around us, all is connected within the circle. How we treat the land we live upon, is how we will be treated. How we treat our brothers and sisters is how we will be treated. The Circle is community around you. Now is the time to begin co creating and re-connect our communities. Now is the time we must heal the Sacred Circle of all Life. So we offer a prayer. Oh Great Spirit, we lift our spirits to you. We offer our souls that they may experience the unending and eternal love that permeates all things. Allow us to remember. In remembering, we experience the love of self that transcends the separation we have created. |
